      "text": "I've lived in Kyoto for about 2 years, and during my time here, I've been deeply inspired by the balance the city maintains between urban and natural spaces. In Kyoto, nature is beautifully spread throughout the city, almost as if the natural environment was being protected by a spirit or deity preventing the city from completely engulfing the land. This art piece represents how I imagine this deity, a beautiful yet intimidating spirit that maintains and protects the environment from evil with hair of wings, flowers, and leaves, a personification of nature down to its core.",
